There is no denying Maison Landemaine do a terrific baguette tradicion, dense and springy with a thick crust and nicely charred exterior. I haven’t seen much passionfruit patisserie although I did see some passionfruit at the market, so I thought I would try this modest little tart. It surprised me with a layer of rich raspberry jam beneath a soft, velvety passionfruit curd. I thought this a particularly Australian-style patisserie (even without coconut!). A little on the expensive side at 4 euros but very well executed.
