Wild Charonne

A 2012 study found more than 35 wild plants growing from cracks and fissures in Rue Blaise in the village of Charonne, more than any other street in Paris. Obviously this passionfruit is cultivated but boxes of wild and edible plants line the streets of this pretty area, rendering it cool even at the height of the canicule (ask me about my wishful thinking next Tuesday).
